5 Guilt-Free Mocktails to Kick Off 2017

Trying to stay on track with your diet this New Year’s Eve? Save the calories by enjoying a few of these festive mocktails! You do not need to be pregnant or underage to leave the alcohol calories behind. You will blend right in at your party with these spectacular low-calorie refreshments. Not only are they delicious but they are fun and easy to make!

*All of the following recipes can easily be tailored to serve as many guests as needed so their are no specific measurements provided.

Ingredients:

  • Sugar-Free Ginger Beer (Q Ginger Beer)
  • Fresh lime Juice
  • Mint and Lime Wedges for garnish

Directions:

Begin by putting the traditional copper mule mugs in the freezer to keep cold. Then combine the Ginger Beer and lime juice in a small pitcher and pour over ice into each copper mug. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.

Practically Prosecco

Ingredients:

  • Sugar-Free Ginger Beer or Zevia Ginger Ale
  • Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • Blueberries
  • Basil

Directions:

Pour yourself a champagne chute with ginger beer. Add a dash of lemon juice and muddle some blueberries and basil to spice it up! Sweeten with stevia if needed.

Cranberry Spritzer

Ingredients:

  • Zero Cal. Cranberry Juice
  • Sparkling Water
  • Fresh Lemons and Cranberries for garnish

Directions:

Grab the glasses and pour the sparkling water over ice. Add in the cranberry juice as you see fit. Then squeezes some fresh lemon juice and use the rest for garnish. For fun, slide a few fresh cranberries on a toothpick and drop in the short glass.  

Watermelon Faux-jito

  • Large Mint Leaves (torn by hand)
  • Seedless watermelon slices
  • Club Soda
  • Fresh squeezed limes
  • Stevia to taste

Directions:

Begin by discarding watermelon rind. Puree the watermelon. Muddle the mint and combine it with watermelon. Once you have this mixture, add the club soda. Cut the limes to fit 6 drinks and squeeze in any extra for taste. Then in place of a simple syrup feel free to add stevia to taste!

Lemon Mocktini

Ingredients:

  • Club Soda
  • Fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Stevia for sweetener

Directions:

Go ahead and pour the club soda and lemon juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Do a little taste test before adding in stevia for sweetness. Pour the drink into a martini glass and serve with a lemon twist.
